Job Summary
Program Coordinator oversees day-to-day operations of a residential program that provides support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Leads and supervises support staff to ensure engagement and activities aligned with the agency’s mission; develops and monitors individual client support plans using positive behavior strategies; ensures infection control, health care delivery, and documentation compliant with HIPAA and agency policies; coordinates community inclusion and opportunities; manages staff scheduling, performance reviews, and on-call supervision; ensures coordination with external services and regulatory compliance; requires strong communication, teamwork, and training to develop staff and maintain a safe, person-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Must obtain criminal clearances as required (Washington, FBI, child abuse clearances)
- Must complete required TB test (if applicable)
- Must be nurse delegated for client medication administration
- Must have the 12-hour Peer Coach Training
- Valid driver’s license with driving record that meets agency policy
- Must pass a drug screen
- Have a current CPR/First aid certification required or must be obtained
- Obtain Right Response Certification
- Able to be an approved signer for checkbooks
