Job Summary
Manage the administrative infrastructure for the EdD program by processing doctoral applications, tracking student credit-hour progress, and coordinating course scheduling and residency calendars. Onboard incoming students to technology systems, organize orientation events, and support faculty with contracting and syllabus logistics. Maintain accurate student records, flag those needing academic support, and compile data for institutional reporting and accreditation. Coordinate dissertation committee logistics, including proposal defenses and milestone deadlines, while responding to routine inquiries and escalating complex issues to the Program Director. Work with bi-vocational adult learners and adjunct instructors to ensure admissions, registration, and degree progress occur accurately and on time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of two years of administrative, academic-affairs, or program-coordination experience, preferably in higher education
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines, records, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort communicating with adult professional learners who have limited availability during business hours
- Proficiency with standard office software
- Willingness to learn the institution's student information system and learning management system

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Must have strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills

- Must be able to read, write and speak fluently in English
- Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours/day

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in higher education administration, theology, or a related field
- Experience supporting a graduate or doctoral program, specifically, including familiarity with dissertation-process logistics
- Familiarity with, or interest in, AI tools and educational technology
- Experience working with bi-vocational, ministry, or other nontraditional adult student populations
- Experience supporting institutional accreditation or program-review reporting
