Job Summary
Plan, develop, and lead imaginative programs for senior residents, including cultural, social, educational, and fitness activities; coordinate cultural and social outings and serve as a program chaperone; schedule external vendors and manage invoices; create promotional flyers and maintain monthly calendars; collaborate with the program manager and care teams to meet residents’ intellectual, social, spiritual, and physical needs; build trusting relationships with residents, families, and colleagues; require strong organization, initiative, and communication skills, and a willingness to learn Jewish culture and traditions; on-site role in Dedham, MA with flexible scheduling including weekends and evenings; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, master’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 4-5 years of commensurate experience
- Master’s degree preferable
- Extensive computer literacy with Windows, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays and evenings
- Ability to innovate and think strategically
- Ability to build trusting relationships with residents and families
- Ability to interact with residents, team members, and colleagues positively
- Compact to maintain daily schedules and monthly programming calendars
