Program Coordinator, 21st Century CCLC

Job Summary

Oversee the full 21st CCLC grant cycle, ensuring all programs meet MDOE requirements and district mission goals while managing budgeting, data collection, and reporting. Establish positive relationships with students, school staff, parents, and community partners to drive student recruitment and retention for 80+ students across two elementary schools. Direct the hiring process, including interviewing, onboarding, and training, while coordinating essential services like transportation and meals. Align school day and program operations, including staffing, family engagement, and space sharing, to ensure academic support and enrichment opportunities meet student needs. Develop hands-on STEM and literacy curricula in partnership with Maine Audubon, facilitating advisory board meetings to secure future funding and program longevity beyond the initial grant cycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience
  • Minimum of 1 year program leadership experience
  • Proven experience in curriculum design, out-of-school time programming, and/or grant-funded (21st CCLC) educational environments
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and a demonstrated commitment to educational equity
  • Current teacher certification with 020 or 029 endorsement preferred, but not required
