Job Summary
Compile and analyze financial information to support senior management business decisions and lead financial control for a large Department of Defense contract. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems while mentoring and supervising a geographically dispersed team responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Monitor key performance indicators, manage financial risks, and proactively communicate recommendations to leadership and clients. Prepare bottom-up forecasts and lead internal and client financial reviews. Requires 10+ years in Federal Government Contracting, AAS experience, and a Secret clearance. Full-time role with up to 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with Federal Government Contracting
- 3+ years of experience in a managerial role
- Experience with AAS, formerly FEDSIM
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with program cost control, contract interpretation, budget development, and administration of government projects
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams
- Experience in Microsoft Excel, including using complex formulas and functions
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Department of State Standard Regulations, federal budget process, and funds management
- Ability to prepare financial forecasts based on bottom-up analyses and historical trends
- Ability to remain adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
