Job Summary
Program & Campus Director role leading Rhode Island campus and RI-based Clinical PsyD program, with on-site academic and operational leadership, curriculum development, accreditation alignment with APA, faculty recruitment and supervision, field education and internship coordination (APPIC/APA expectations), development of practicum pipelines and partnerships, and strategic program management to support growth of behavioral health workforce in New England. Primary responsibilities include on-site leadership for the RI campus coordinating with Newton offices, curriculum planning and program management, accreditation preparation, faculty development, student outcomes assessment, and external partnerships, while maintaining teaching responsibilities and contributing to budget, governance, and fundraising efforts. Requires a Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology and relevant administrative and higher education leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- Licensed or license-eligible clinical psychologist (preferred)
- Prior experience teaching doctoral-level courses and supervising doctoral students
- Administrative leadership experience in a higher education or related environment
- Minimum five years of full-time experience in higher education
- Familiarity with American Psychological Association (APA) Standards of Accreditation
- Demonstrated ability to promote team building and collaboration
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
