Job Summary
Provide administrative support to the CCP Director, Antitrust, and Consumer Protection Counsel, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, and appointment coordination. Monitor communications for timely follow-up and assist with event planning, drafting agendas, and running online webinars in conjunction with the MarComms team. Edit, format, and distribute correspondence while updating the consumer-facing website and external SharePoint site. Manage accounting tasks, invoice creation, and grant administration, then maintain electronic records and troubleshoot SharePoint access issues. This role reports directly to the Director of the CCP and requires a bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and collaboration tools is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, such as project management, accounting, finance, or business administration
- Approximately 3-5 years of professional experience
- Experience supporting a leadership team working in a state attorney general office, especially in legal areas for consumer protection, antitrust, and charities
- Strong professional verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, diligence, follow-up, and follow-through to meet critical project deadlines
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe products
- Outlook (calendar management and scheduling)
- Word (document creation, formatting, and editing, inserting images and graphs, creating headers and footers, and troubleshooting shared documents)
- Excel (data management, importing from other applications, reporting, creating charts, and graphs)
- PowerPoint (slides development, formatting, and online presenting)
- SharePoint (document management, permissions, and user support)
- Lists (creation, user access, and support)
- Teams (shared documents and meeting support)
- Forms (creating, distributing, collecting responses, and summarizing results)
- Adobe (creating and editing forms, organizing pages and documents, combining files, creating bookmarks, and redacting)
- Advanced use of online meetings platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
- Ability to adapt to new technology, software, and applications
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, composure, and discretion
- Employ problem-solving skills to make decisions
- Demonstrate consistent attention to customer service, orally and in writing, using various modes of communication
- Manage competing projects or deadlines simultaneously
- Travel may be required to events to provide on-site administrative and technical support
