Program Associate, Global Humanitarian Response

Job Summary
Support rapid global disaster response implementation by booking passengers, tracking cargo shipments, and managing partner databases. Gather, analyze, and disseminate information on relief needs and logistics challenges to support operational decision-making. Drive creation of internal briefings, situation reports, and external program updates. Maintain regional communities of practice and coordinate disaster-time and quarterly regional calls. Collect and review reporting from response partners on shipments, passenger mobilization, and community impact. Provide support for administrative projects, webinars, and partner learning events. Work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as dictated by program needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience and High School diploma
- Prior work experience in the nonprofit, humanitarian, or logistics sectors
- Oral and written communication skills in English, including report writing and editing
- Experience with Monday.com, Salesforce, or other program management and CRM software
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Must be in or willing to relocate to the Washington, D.C. area
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Humanitarian Affairs, International Development, or Logistics
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to process large volumes of information dynamically in a changing operational environment
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and reprioritize in response to evolving operational needs
- Familiarity with humanitarian logistics, supply chain operations, or emergency response contexts
- Working proficiency in Arabic, Spanish, or French
