Job Summary
Part-time Program Assistant at the YMCA responsible for supervising athletic facilities during program time, including supervision of field or gym during league practice, scorekeeping and officiating of youth sports, assisting volunteer coaches, and setup/cleanup of activities. Also officiates games in younger age groups, assists in teaching clinics and camps, and helps with special events. Working hours include early afternoons (12pm–2pm) and evenings (4pm–7pm).
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age
- General knowledge in sports
- Understanding of the YMCA’s principles of Youth Development
- CPR and First Aid certified
