Program Assistant

Welcome children arriving from school buses, supervise safe transitions between activities, and escort students throughout the building. Assist with curbside dismissal and safe pick-up procedures while preparing and distributing snacks. Stock supplies to keep program spaces organized and support special events and daily operations. Provide active supervision to maintain a positive, inclusive environment for elementary-aged students during afternoon hours. Follow the Tarrytown & Irvington school calendars for approximately 180 days per year, including paid orientation and early dismissal days.
