Job Summary

Stock essential needs supplies, receive deliveries, and prepare 150+ hygiene bags weekly for clients experiencing housing instability. Transport items between storage facilities and service locations in Kent and Seattle, delivering supplies and temporarily available items to clients as needed. Maintain organized storage rooms and report inventory shortages to the supervisor. Assist with office space maintenance, including moving furniture and transferring file cabinets between locations. This role requires a valid Washington driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and on-site attendance Monday through Friday.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid WA Driver's license
  • Active driver's license
  • Complete a driving record check
  • Available to work Monday-Friday
  • Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision
  • Organized and detail orientated
  • Able to work with people of diverse backgrounds and temperaments
  • Good at working with people and pulling a team together
  • Conscientious performance of duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
  • Support and uphold the mission, beliefs and values of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services
  • Demonstrate the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations
  • Applicant must successfully pass required background clearances prior to an offer of employment
  • Have a good driving record
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs of weight repeatedly
  • Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs
  • Reliably commute on-site M – F (Wednesdays will be in Kent for the afternoon)
  • Work in an environment where there may be exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious material
  • Work with cleaning supplies, chemicals involved in pest control, paint and other materials used in building maintenance
  • Work with building temperature fluctuations, dust, noise, and odors
  • Work with interruptions, working alone, responding to emergencies, working on-call and interactions with angry persons
