Job Summary
Assist in daily operations of the Older Adult Ministries Camp by organizing programs, setting up props, and preparing games. Perform routine sanitation, cleaning, and stocking of public bathrooms, including washing and redistributing towels. Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area, common areas, and the Lodge, while delivering materials to various locations. Transport senior campers as needed and participate in camping program activities. Report guest property and property damage cases to the supervisor. Adhere to camp policies, including leaving campgrounds during breaks, and maintain positive relationships with employees and guests.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- must be 18 years old
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain high performance and professionalism
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Strong time-management skills
- Will understand, respect, and promote the interest of The Salvation Army
