Job Summary
Assist members with activities of daily living, personal care, and meal service while facilitating therapeutic recreational programs. Maintain program areas and equipment by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and proper stocking. Monitor members for changes in condition, escalate concerns, and actively contribute to a safe, clutter-free environment. Communicate professionally with members, families, and the community while participating in staff meetings and safety training. Work a flexible schedule in a fun environment with opportunities for PTO, medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience
- At least one-year full-time equivalent experience in a health care setting
- Prior experience working seniors and/or adults with special needs
- Engaging interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Able to bend, pull, push, squat, turn, transfer, and lift 50 pounds
- Able to stand for an extended period while providing physical assistance to members
- Successful results of background check
- Additional state-specific regulatory requirements
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- At least one-year full-time equivalent experience in a health care setting preferred
