Job Summary
Process incoming program referrals and input client demographics, group encounters, and documentation into database systems. Assist staff in facilitating educational and supportive services in group and individual settings while scheduling and checking in patient appointments for intakes, assessments, and programming activities. Provide administrative support to the Director of Health & Wellness, including maintaining supply orders, performing pantry intakes, bagging and disseminating groceries, and organizing inventory. Handle phone support by answering calls and providing patient reminders, while updating client information in electronic charting systems like Medent to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Health and Wellness, Human Services, or related field
- one (1) year of experience
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally
- demonstrate ability to work independently
- exercise effective time-management skills
- demonstrate familiarity with computers and MS Office software (Outlook, Word)
- effective organizational skills
- attention to detail
- Ability to maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) in a confidential manner
- awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations
Desired Qualifications
- preferably in a non profit setting
- degree preferred, but extensive experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- experience in a non-profit setting
