Job Summary
Provide administrative support for UI Extension Elmore County, including secretarial/clerical duties, program assistance, budget preparation and monitoring, procurement, maintaining department records, updating the UI Extension Elmore County Website pages, and assisting with events such as the Elmore County Fair. Collaborates with the Extension Educator and 4-H program staff, prepares newsletters/brochures, drafts annual/monthly financial reports, processes invoices and purchase orders, maintains organizational files, and supports public interactions regarding department programs and services; requires strong writing, organizational, and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic accounting concepts. May require occasional evening/weekend work and completion of a pre-employment background check; Spanish language skills and knowledge of 4-H/UI Extension operations are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 years of post-secondary education or an Associate Degree (A.A./A.S./A.A.S.) from an accredited institution OR any equivalent combination of experience and training
- Must possess a Valid Idaho Driver’s license
