Job Summary
Coordinate event planning, including venue booking, registration tracking, and logistics communication. Manage team travel logistics such as accommodations and transportation reservations. Support fiscal management by monitoring accounts, tracking expenditures, setting up purchase orders, and processing travel reimbursements. Handle project logistics like scheduling meetings, distributing agendas, and taking minutes. Collaborate with ACT CCA and COE teams, NYSDOH, and community partners to ensure smooth project function. Occasional travel across New York State may be required. This one-year fixed-term position is based in Ithaca, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree and up to 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent combination
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Strategies to ensure tasks are completed, including following up with team members, as needed
- Attentive to details
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Ability to handle the demands of deadlines
- Ability to seamlessly move between changing priorities

- Experience with Windows Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

- Valid US driver's license
