Job Summary
Develop promotional materials, conduct workshops for program participants, and prepare correspondence and program reports. Compile data, ensure new agencies comply with federal, state, and local statutes, and monitor food and hygiene distribution while developing a filing system. Assist in proposal and budget development, oversee HEAP Outreach Worker applications, and provide training to new and ongoing staff. Travel throughout San Bernardino County for meetings and conferences as required. Maintain strict confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Fifteen (15) semesters, twenty-three (23) quarter units of completed college course work in behavioral science, public/business administration, social science, education, or a closely related field
- A list of coursework or college transcript must be submitted with the application
- Two (2) years of para-professional, technical, or administrative experience working in a Social Service program(s)
- Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must maintain a valid and current California Driver License
- Must be insurable
- Must have/maintain a safe driving record throughout employment
- Must maintain state mandated personal automobile insurance coverage throughout the course of employment
