Job Summary
Program Assistant at Bryn Mawr College supports the Impact Center for Community Development & Inclusion with administrative and data tasks, information dissemination, scheduling, budget reporting, invoice processing, and coordination of student staff. Responsibilities include managing inquiries, maintaining budget records, overseeing department space functions, ordering supplies, coordinating student payroll, updating websites and social media, and assisting with program/event support and selection processes for fellowships and prizes. Requires a Bachelor's degree or two years of relevant experience; strong written/spoken communication, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and ability to balance multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, web content management, Zoom, online ordering/records software, and Workday; maintaining confidentiality and regulatory/compliance awareness are essential. Evening/weekend availability may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or two years of relevant experience required
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism
- Ability to work and act independently
- Ability to prioritize assignments and to flex those priorities as demands change
- Ability to support multiple team members and to coordinate with student staff to accomplish tasks
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience maintaining budgetary records, creating reports, and in general financial recordkeeping
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, databases, web content management systems, Zoom video conferencing, online ordering and record keeping software, and demonstrated ability to learn to use Workday software
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cordial working relationships with people inside and outside the College
- Excellent writing, speaking, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Demonstrated ability to understand the importance and complexities of following regulations and maintaining College compliance requirements and relevant regulations
- Successful completion of satisfactory background checks
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
