Job Summary
Implement and maintain organizational programs to support clients in achieving mission objectives while reviewing contracts and managing project cost accounting. Execute tactical planning using Microsoft Project and engage with SMEs, schedulers, customers, and analysts to ensure quality standards and budget adherence. Identify, manage, and communicate project risks to senior leadership while developing hardware-based solutions and technical proposals. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget for all elements, utilizing EVMS for budget and schedule tracking where applicable. Work with suppliers and product teams to deliver integrated systems within contract requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience developing and delivering hardware-based solutions in a project or program management role
- Experience using Microsoft Project to build and manage project delivery
- Experience writing technical proposals
- Experience managing delivery to a contract
- Ability to function independently as a self-starter and manage work efficiently
- Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget for all elements of a project
- Ability to identify, manage, and communicate project risks to senior leadership
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience using EVMS to manage project budgets and schedules
- Experience managing research and development programs
- Experience managing programs to design and deliver integrated hardware and software systems
- Experience working with suppliers and managing product delivery to a set of requirements
- Experience using the Agile framework and the Sprint or Scrum approach to project management
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD design software
- Possession of excellent problem resolution and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
- Master's degree in Engineering a plus
