Job Summary
Strategic leader responsible for the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive portfolio of programs, events, and resident engagement initiatives across YMCA-managed HOA and Metro District communities. Oversees staff, instructors, contractors, and volunteers; manages multiple event calendars, budgets, and vendor contracts; cultivates partnerships to expand programming and engagement; ensures safe, high-quality events across multiple communities; requires strong leadership, project management, and excellent communication, with ability to travel between community locations.
Required Qualifications
- Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in event planning, recreation management, community programming, hospitality, or related fields
- High School Degree Required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel regularly between YMCA-managed communities
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Minimum age of 21
