Job Summary
Provide analytical support in engineering, science, business, financial, cost, or program management disciplines to include analysis, design, development, testing, integration, logistics, and maintenance of systems, processes, programs, offices, or products. Develop and review acquisition documentation, program reports, papers, drawings, specifications, and procedures for Government review and approval. Facilitate communication between Program Management Office personnel and CIOs at Combat Development and Integration to support informed requirements and acquisition decisions. Deliver capability briefs and information papers while conducting periodic analysis to validate Approved Acquisition Objectives within the Total Force Structure Management System. Coordinate with Marine Corps operating forces to identify capabilities, gaps, solutions, and risk areas, ensuring program portfolios fulfill Marine Corps missions. Assist in drafting Program Objective Memorandum funding initiatives and ensuring alignment with DoD and Marine Corps requirements documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7-10 Years of Experience
- Foundational knowledge of Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) policy (i.e., Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instruction (CJCSI) 3170.01) and DoD/Marine Corps requirements documentation processes (i.e., DoD Instruction 5000.02, Secretary of the Navy Instruction (SECNAVINST) 5000.2)
- Foundational knowledge of DoD requirements and capabilities development processes
- Capable of translating warfighter needs and policy guidance into clear draft documentation
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Collaborative, team player
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook)
- Basic familiarity with TFSMS and DoD requirements management tools
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear, and to use hands and arms for routine work tasks
- Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 30 pounds
