Job Summary
Program Analyst [POWER & ARISE] at ARC to facilitate and execute the full lifecycle of the POWER program and coordinate the ARISE initiative, collaborating with ARC states, LDDs, other federal agencies, state agencies, grantees, and local partners. The role requires managing timelines and deliverables, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to work both independently and in teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams; travel up to ~25% and maintain a valid driver’s license; and successful completion and maintenance of a background security review. This is an in-DC, in-person role based in Washington, DC. ARC emphasizes collaboration, accountability, adaptability, and critical analysis as core competencies and references the NF-12 grade (DC locality).
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of project management experience to develop and follow project timelines and produce deliverables
- Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Master’s degree a plus
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPTX)
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
- Ability to travel up to ~25% and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Background security review clearance or completion prior to hire
