Job Summary
Provide technical and professional support in organizational planning, budget execution, and administrative processes. Assist with analysis and planning of organizational functions, including structural reorganizations and forward financial planning for visitor services. Offer mentoring, training, and hands-on assistance to parkwide budget and administrative staff while developing reference guides and training materials. Work 30 hours per week at a location in Three Rivers. This role supports the National Park Service through the Experienced Services Program, connecting experienced professionals with federal agency missions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 year(s) of experience in a profession with primary duties involving administration, budget planning/execution, and organizational support/analysis
- Experience in developing and implementing program, budget, and administrative processes with a federal agency
- Demonstrated skill and experience with working within and across teams in support of program functions within budget and administrative areas
- Hands on experience with formulation and execution of NPS budgets
- Experience with evaluating and revising programs to meet organizational goals
- Experience required with Windows
- Experience required with MS Word
- Experience required with MS Excel
- Experience required with MS Teams
- Experience required with MS Outlook
- Experience required with MS SharePoint
Desired Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree with minimum additional experience of 1 year(s) in federal position as a GS-07 budget series
