Job Summary
Support the PARC Director and Scientific Director with administrative and operational tasks, including creating annual progress reports, developing competitive renewal grant applications, and managing travel arrangements. Track operational budgets for the center and its components, arrange expense reimbursements for events, and coordinate meetings for investigators, the external Program Advisory Committee, and the Internal Advisory Board. Maintain meticulous records of publications, seminars, finances, and progress reports while managing the PARC Library. Work Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility for critical deadlines and rare weekend work, in a hybrid schedule of 50% telework and 50% on-campus presence.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience leading projects
- Associates degree and three years of experience leading projects
- An equivalent combination of training and experience
- 3 years of experience working in an administrative support role supporting a team of 10 or more people
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a results-oriented team
- Must possess the ability to work rapidly and accurately while tracking many details
- Strong skills in oral, email, and written communication
