Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and six years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience)
- Knowledge of Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS) and CPA Canada standards
- Extensive financial background with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and program-related financial advice
- Ability to critically analyze and cost programs, forecast operations, examine financial statements, and advise clients on financial, accounting, and reporting matters within GAAP, legislation, and policy
- Experience in program evaluation and in the development of systems, procedures, and policies related to financial accountability
- Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management and internal/external stakeholders
