Profile Operator

Operate, start up, monitor, and shut down Profile production lines in accordance with SOPs and supervisor direction. Set up the profile line based on production orders, product specifications, SKU, profile type, tooling, packaging, and quality expectations. Verify materials, orders, product descriptions, board size, color, profile, packaging, and labels on the correct line. Monitor line performance, profiling/milling quality, packaging flow, equipment conditions, and finished-goods appearance; perform routine quality checks on profile fit, edge quality, surface appearance, dimensions, box counts, labeling, and overall condition. Make process adjustments within defined standards to support safety, quality, production output, scrap reduction, and consistent product flow. Troubleshoot common profile issues such as incorrect profile, poor edge quality, damaged boards, line jams, packaging issues, label concerns, equipment faults, and quality defects. Communicate safety, downtime, material, staffing, tooling, maintenance, and production concerns to appropriate teams. Record production data accurately, including output, downtime, scrap, quality issues, order changes, line conditions, and follow-up items. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of the Profile line and surrounding areas. Ensure effective shift handoffs and clear communication of orders and status to the next shift.
