Job Summary
Analyze slicer operations, adjust programs to meet slice requirements, and read pallet sheets to identify upcoming products. Cut product blocks into manageable loaves, remove items from shipping boxes and tubes, and change cutter wires efficiently. Assemble and disassemble slice units while strictly adhering to GMP policy, food safety, and sanitation procedures. Must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with occasional 100 lb lifts. Schedule is day shift Monday through Thursday, occasionally Friday, from 6 pm to 6 am with no weekends. Training pay starts at $20.60/hour, rising to $23.10/hour upon meeting skill levels.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally
