Job Summary
Teach food chemistry and analytical methods with a strong focus on data-driven approaches and digital technologies. Lead and grow an externally funded research program combining food chemistry, data science, and digital applications. Collaborate with industry partners to bring real-world challenges into Bachelor and Master programs and foster applied research projects. Inspire students and colleagues to integrate digital thinking into traditional food science disciplines.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Food Chemistry, Analytical Food Science or a related field
- expertise in Data Science or Digital Sciences is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience in analytical labs and with data analysis; familiarity with sensor and process analytical technologies is a plus
- Experience in industrial R&D and project management is advantageous
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French; knowledge of German is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
