Job Summary
Teach and deliver LVN program coursework across Collin College campuses in Wylie, Plano, Celina, and at the Technical Campus. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering engaging course content, updating materials to remain current, advising and assisting students, supporting adjunct faculty, participating in department and district-wide committees, and contributing to curriculum development and program assessment. The role requires in-person instruction at assigned campuses, collaboration with library staff for collection development, adherence to safety and laboratory protocols, and ongoing professional development to maintain instructional standards. The position is security sensitive with background checks, and compensation ranges from $61,128 to $74,368 annually depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Texas
- Teaching experience or demonstrated ability to teach in nursing or allied health fields
- Ability to perform essential duties as described in the faculty role
