Job Summary
Tenured Professor in Experimental Quantum Physics at Aalto University, to lead an outstanding independent research program in experimental quantum physics (low temperatures; solid-state quantum materials or transport; superconducting circuits) and take responsibility for education within the Department of Applied Physics. The role involves guiding teaching and education, contributing to research leadership and academic service, and collaborating across interdisciplinary environments. The appointment may be at Associate Professor or Full Professor level within the tenure track system, with a negotiable startup package and access to advanced facilities (OtaNano infrastructure, Low Temperature Laboratory, Micronova cleanroom, Nanomicroscopy Center). The position is based at the Otaniemi Campus in Espoo, Finland, and requires a doctorate with a track record of research excellence and funding success; English proficiency is required for duties. Required Qualifications
