Professional Surveyor/Project Manager

Job Summary
Manage the full life cycle of surveying projects, including proposal, initiation, execution, control, and closeout, while optimizing client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility. Provide technical support for Survey Technician staff by conducting CAD drafting, reducing and rectifying raw field data, and inputting analysis into AutoCAD or Civil3D systems. Prepare cost estimates, detailed proposals, legal descriptions, and final survey drawings, then review drafts before submittal to clients or review agencies. Collaborate with Surveyors, Engineers, and Technicians on project meetings and status updates, while assisting in right-of-way and deed research. Maintain continuing education for licensure and conduct periodic training for office and field staff on drafting standards.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed Professional Surveyor. (PSM in Florida) or able to obtain in 6 months
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Project Manager/Project Surveyor
- Proficient with AutoCAD/Civil3D
- Basic Math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Capable of solving problems using Trigonometric and Geometric functions
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Bluebeam (or Adobe)
- Ability to work together with a team or individually
- Must be team-oriented and self-motivated
- High School or equivalent required
- Membership and involvement in local survey society chapter and organization is encouraged
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics or Engineering preferred
