Job Summary
The Professional Fee Surgical Coding Specialist III will work in collaboration with departments to code, review, and release charges, ensuring correct coding, billing compliance, and complete charge capture. Must possess extensive knowledge in surgery coding across multiple specialties, including Cardiology and CT Surgery.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of Surgical coding experience
- Coding Certification - one of the following: CPC, CCS-P, CCS, RHIT
Desired Qualifications
- Surgical coding experience in a healthcare position
- Knowledge of ICD10, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines
- Specialty Coding knowledge
- Prior use of an Electronic Health Record
- Epic experience preferred
