Job Summary
Solution Architect within Commvault Professional Services to engage with customers, understand their data and information management environments, and craft, implement, and remediate solutions across Modern Data Protection, Multi-Cloud, Archive & Compliance, and Ransomware/Disaster Recovery. Responsibilities include installing/configuring hardware and software, migrating data from legacy backup infrastructure, deploying backup agents for applications/databases/hypervisors, collaborating with technical teams to resolve issues, maintaining project documentation (including UAT plans and as-built docs), updating the Project Manager on progress, staying current with methodologies to ensure smooth delivery, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requires strong communication, hands-on Commvault experience, knowledge of Networking/Storage/Linux, and proficiency with backup/recovery of Microsoft 365 and databases; ideally with Advanced Commvault Certification. Location is Rome, Italy with hybrid work arrangement."
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Technical Support / Professional Services / Managed Services / Administration of enterprise backup and recovery software, hands-on Commvault experience
- Proficiency with Linux scripting
- Fluent Italian and English
