Job Summary

Lead solutions design on complex pre-sales and post-sales projects, providing technical oversight and acting as escalation points for a portfolio of implementations. Drive development of Cato PS best practices, knowledge base articles, and reference architectures while performing design and implementation reviews for internal and partner deployments. Synthesize field learning into repeatable technology best practices and act as a deep subject matter expert on SASE, creating content and training materials. Serve as the Product Management liaison for feedback on features and functionality, facilitating project enhancements and roadmap discussions. Coordinate customer onboarding training and maintain expert proficiency in implementing any Cato product independently. This role requires 5+ years of experience in multi-vendor network architecture and customer-facing consulting. Full-time employment with up to 25% travel required.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a multi-vendor network or security infrastructure as an architect or senior level engineer
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in routing (static, BGP, EIGRP, etc.) and switching
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer facing role (consulting, professional services, pre-sales, managed services) for a high-tech software or technology vendor performing architectural design including creation of HLD and LLD documentation
  • Experience with designing and managing network infrastructure with at least one of the three major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Exposure to web-based APIs and scripting languages
  • Excellent customer interaction and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade at all levels and gain a 'Trusted Advisor' status with key stakeholders
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Must be very well organized and able to work effectively in a nimble and fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working within a geographically distributed team for a hypergrowth global organization
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • At least 3 of the following domains: SD-WAN, Firewall, Proxy, Secure Web Gateway/CASB/ DLP, Identity Management (SSO, SAML, LDAP, etc.), IPS, Load Balancing, Networking protocol analysis (TCP, UPD, IP, ICMP, etc.), WAN, MPLS, API and AI security gateways, Kubernetes container deployment and management

Desired Qualifications

  • Industry recognized certification from major network vendor
  • Solid command of the English language (written and spoken)
  • Each additional language
