Job Summary
Lead complex, high-value, multi-workstream IT managed services projects for major Rackspace accounts, delivering end-to-end project governance from Start through Close. Define and chair governance fora, manage executive stakeholder relationships, and guide junior team members. Maintain detailed project plans with MSP/MS Project/MS Planner, drive risk and renewal considerations, contribute to capacity planning and pipeline reviews, and apply lessons-learned to drive continuous improvement. Travel and be onsite with customers as required (London-based project). Proficiency with cloud, networking, virtualization, storage, OS, databases, backups, and AI-enhanced delivery workflows is expected.
Required Qualifications
- PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification required
- 6–9 years of project management experience, including 3+ years in IT managed services
- Background in IT Infrastructure (Cloud Computing, Networking, Virtualization, Storage, OS, Databases, Backup and Recovery)
- Experience managing projects of $1M+ end-to-end
- Experience with hybrid delivery and agile within a structured governance framework
- Strong executive stakeholder relationship management
