Professional Services Network Engineer

Job Summary
Lead and execute Professional Services engagements, including solution design, deployment, migration, and optimization for enterprise and service provider customers. Deliver and configure ADC, Carrier-Grade NAT, and DDoS protection solutions to provide advanced load balancing, security, and performance capabilities. Provide architectural guidance on traffic-flow optimization, capacity planning, and high availability while troubleshooting complex deployment issues. Produce professional documentation, including solution designs, implementation guides, and customer handoffs. Offer limited post-deployment support, including hypercare during go-lives and customer education sessions. Requires 3+ years of networking experience and comfort with on-site and remote engagements, including travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in networking, application delivery, or network security
- ideally in Professional Services, consulting, or project delivery
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, VRRP/HSRP, OSPF, BGP, IPv4/IPv6, NAT) and L4-L7 application behaviour
- Demonstrated ability to implement complex solutions involving ADC technologies (load balancing, SSL offload, health checks, GSLB)
- Demonstrated ability to implement complex solutions involving Carrier-Grade NAT (CGN / CGNAT) and IPv6 transition strategies
- Demonstrated ability to implement complex solutions involving DDoS detection and mitigation strategies and tooling
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms: F5 BIG-IP, Citrix NetScaler / ADC, Cisco ACE
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas clearly
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable with on-site and remote customer engagements, including travel as required
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

- Advanced networking/security certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, A10 ACE, F5 BIG-IP)
