Professional Services Manager - Dedrone

Job Summary
Lead Dedrone deployments as the primary technical lead, managing delivery from post-sale through full operational readiness. Conduct site assessments for hardware placement and RF coverage, then deliver role-based training to customer drone teams, public safety operators, and IT staff. Guide agencies in creating operational policies that integrate Dedrone systems with broader technology stacks and coordinate third-party vendors for integration quality. Build deployment documentation, SOP templates, and training plans while providing post-deployment monitoring and escalation. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering to capture feature requests and support RFP/RFI responses, Statements of Work, and Proof of Concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles (Professional Services, Field Engineering, Sales Engineering, Deployment)
- Direct experience deploying hardware/software solutions in complex operational environments
- Understanding of drone systems, airspace management, RF sensing, or UAS programs (relevant remote pilot certification or equivalent required, or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- Deep familiarity with IP networking, SNMP, DHCP, PoE, Linux CLI, and basic system administration
- Confident training presence; able to present technical workflows clearly to executives, end users, and technical teams alike
- Experience working with public safety agencies, particularly law enforcement or security operations
- Project and stakeholder management skills; ability to own a deployment from kickoff to success
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and must be physically capable of climbing ladders, stairs, and working in an elevated environment
- Willingness to travel heavily and adapt to dynamic customer needs in the field
