Professional Services Engineer - Corvil

Job Summary
Deliver Corvil product implementation and configuration services at customer sites via remote access and screenshare meetings. Build relationships with technical stakeholders in networking and application teams while documenting individual technology solutions and maintaining records in Jira and Salesforce. Collaborate with clients to interpret requirements, design solutions, and identify integration opportunities for Pico products. Provide feedback to Product Management on roadmap influences and maintain deep knowledge of the Corvil suite and competitive financial technology landscape. Work in a hybrid model across EMEA, USA, and APAC jurisdictions, reporting to the Manager of Corvil Services in London.
Required Qualifications
- Expertise in packet-based analysis including solid TCP knowledge
- Practical and working knowledge of IP networking
- Knowledge of traffic capture and aggregation techniques
- Firm grasp of Financial Services trading technologies, including trading plant infrastructure/applications (feed handlers, matching engines, etc.) and protocols (FIX, Market Data, Order Entry etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or appropriate industry experience
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Cultivate an agile ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work effectively
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management with high degree of personal accountability and initiative
- Energetic, enthusiastic and organized
- Ambitious to learn new technologies and products to a high degree of detail and expertise
Desired Qualifications
- Corvil CCE (Corvil Certified Expert) certification or hands on working knowledge of the Corvil product
- Cisco CCNA certifications or equivalent
- Knowledge of scripting in Perl or Python
- Experience working with XML & APIs
- Understanding of Cloud Technology platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google
- Understanding of Virtualization and Containerization technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – Visio
- Experience with Salesforce.com, JIRA, and Confluence
