Job Summary
Senior Professional Services Engineer (Cloud) leads end-to-end cloud engagements for ASG clients, owning the design and implementation of Azure-centric solutions (IaaS, Azure AD/Entra ID, identity governance, SSO, and hybrid Microsoft 365 integrations). Serves as the internal expert on cloud architecture, guiding PS Engineer I staff and collaborating with the PS Manager and TPM to scope projects, flag risks, and ensure on-scope delivery. Responsibilities include delivering Azure IaaS architectures (VMs, virtual networking, storage, backup), deploying and managing Azure AD environments, integrating Microsoft 365 and Azure workloads, performing cloud migrations, and producing comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks. Maintains client relationships through technical discovery, design reviews, and go-live walkthroughs; supports pre-sales scoping, and contributes to cloud standards, reference architectures, and knowledge sharing. Required is strong hands-on Azure experience, excellent written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders, and the ability to work independently on high-complexity cloud projects; MSP/multi-client experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on IT engineering experience with at least 2 years focused on Azure and cloud infrastructure
- Deep working knowledge of Azure IaaS including VMs, virtual networking (VNets, NSGs, peering), storage accounts, and Azure Backup
- Strong experience with Azure AD (Entra ID) including hybrid identity, conditional access, MFA, PIM, and SSO integrations
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure integration including hybrid Exchange, Teams, SharePoint Online, and Entra-connected workloads
- Demonstrated ability to lead cloud projects independently from design through client handoff
- Strong technical documentation skills include architecture diagrams and configuration runbooks
- Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in an MSP or multi-client IT services environment preferred
