Professional Services Consultant (SQL, Reporting & Integrations)

Job Summary
Partner with customers to understand business challenges, technical requirements, and reporting needs. Design, develop, and troubleshoot custom reports using SQL and relational databases, while analyzing data to define structures, KPIs, and metrics. Build and support integrations between Speria applications and customer systems using APIs, databases, and file-based exchanges. Create source-to-target mappings, technical specifications, and documentation. Diagnose reporting, data quality, and integration issues. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans. Conduct discovery sessions and communicate concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Perform testing, validation, and deployment support for customer-facing solutions. Support go-live activities and post-implementation optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful customer outcomes. This role is remote-based in Sweden or the Netherlands with approximately 20% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong hands-on SQL experience, including query development, reporting, troubleshooting, data validation, and data analysis
- Experience working with relational databases and database structures
- Experience with REST APIs, web services, or system integrations
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions
- Experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, or end users
- Understanding of ERP systems or enterprise software environments
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic consulting environment
- Ability to travel approximately 20% as business needs require
- Remote based in Sweden or the Netherlands
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with C#, .NET, Python, Java, or other scripting/programming languages
- SQL Server experience
- Experience supporting SaaS platforms and cloud-based applications
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data migration projects, and data pipelines
- Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Agriculture, food production, manufacturing, or ERP industry experience
