Job Summary
Develop business plans for assigned territories aligned with Viatris sales strategies and objectives. Conduct quality sales presentations to targeted customers, achieving quarterly goals while adhering to ethical practices and regulations. Create pre-call planning strategies for key targets and leverage sample programs and literature to ensure physician awareness of Viatris products. Gather information from offices, pharmacists, and others to implement specific strategies for territory prescribers. Respond to customer requests timely and reliably, utilizing product knowledge training for continuous professional development. Build positive relationships with peers, customers, and company managers to ensure high field productivity. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 1+ years in pharmaceutical sales, and the ability to travel throughout the Charleston, WV territory with a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales experience
- Demonstrated business acumen
- Demonstrated success in influence and negotiation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member to deliver results
- Demonstrated self-starter and highly motivated
- Ability to travel throughout territory (may include overnight travel)
- Must reside in territory geography
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
- Authorization and ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required
