Job Summary
Drive store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories, and services while executing the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a favorable customer experience. Create long-term relationships through needs discovery, customized portfolio presentations, and consistent follow-up, utilizing Podium to ensure satisfaction and future contact. Design professional home consultations to present room designs, sample fabrics, and installation benefits, maximizing store promotions and marketing initiatives. Maintain store visual appearance, manage deliveries, and handle customer inquiries or complaints with strong interpersonal skills. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support the team, with an average annual earning potential of $45,000-$65,000+ after training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to pass background and drug screen
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to work the schedule and hours dictated by business needs
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale
