Job Summary
Design Consultant at Ethan Allen creates individualized interior design solutions including space planning, fabric coordination, and product selection to sell Ethan Allen products and services. Responsibilities include greeting customers, conducting in-home consultations, coordinating with a team, utilizing design tools (3-D Room Planner, CRM, Live Chat), leveraging social media and grassroots marketing to develop business, educating customers on complimentary design services and available finance options, and meeting or exceeding monthly sales benchmarks within an incentive-based compensation plan. The role requires a minimum high school diploma (with relevant experience) and design knowledge, strong communication and presentation skills, and familiarity with online sales tools and social media to build a robust client book. Weekend work and some holidays required.
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a design-related field from an accredited institution, desirable
