Job Summary
Part-time fixed-term practitioner role to coordinate, teach, and assess clinical placement units for undergraduate and graduate-entry Master programs in Medical Imaging Science. Responsibilities include delivering clinical teaching in simulated or real settings, providing professional standards training to prepare students for degree completion and professional registration, developing teaching, subject and assessment materials, applying clinical expertise to inform practice and education reform, supporting other academic staff in contemporary clinical teaching, contributing to a positive, collaborative multidisciplinary team culture, and representing the University in partner clinical settings. The position requires a Bachelor or Master’s degree and registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the MRB Australia, a Radiation Licence with NSW EPA, and relevant clinical-teaching experience. The role is offered at 0.6 FTE (part-time) on a fixed-term basis until December 2026, with a base salary of $118,390 pro-rata.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree, registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board Australia as a Diagnostic Radiographer and holder of a Radiation Licence with the NSW EPA
- Demonstrated capacity to stimulate, actively engage and educate students in the provision of outstanding patient care and to meet professional, ethical and accreditation standards
- Experience in contemporary clinical teaching practices in clinical settings (general, theatre, mobile or computed tomography radiography) with more than three years post-accredited qualification
- Experience in clinical or simulated teaching and learning in a tertiary environment, evidenced by student coaching and skills development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team with strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Willingness to contribute to university strategic agenda and partner organizations
