Job Summary
Pet Sitters will provide pet care services including feeding, walking, and health checks for pets in client homes. Responsibilities involve entering homes, ensuring pet cleanliness, and communicating effectively with clients and management. Ideal candidates must be detail-oriented, responsible, and possess excellent communication skills while being compassionate towards animals. Flexible scheduling is required, and applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to self-manage their time.
Required Qualifications
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Have a smart phone and able to use mapquest and apps
- Have your own, reliable mode of transportation
- Must be extremely detail oriented
- Able to follow detailed instructions
- Must be responsible, reliable, and dependable
- Must be timely and punctual
- Must be able to self-manage
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have a clear criminal background check
- Able to walk 5 miles a day
- Comfortable working while on camera/video in client homes
Desired Qualifications
- Compassionate about animals and their people
- Understand basic dog and cat behavior and communication
- Comfortable working with and interacting with both small and large animals
