Job Summary
Use measurements of surveying equipment to determine property lines and boundaries, then research titles, survey records, and land records to record accurate plots with local authorities. Perform office work including deed research, base mapping with AutoCAD, and routine calculations such as transverse and lot closures. Provide professional representation to clients, contractors, and the public while conducting research, analysis, and field support for land title surveys, topography, and mapping. Prepare easements, plats, and surveys, ensuring all project legal documents are completed and signed. Required Qualifications
- 5 years or more experience in surveying
- Illinois Survey license or ability to obtain within 12 months
