Job Summary
Remote Licensed Project Manager role overseeing Survey Technicians in the Northeast. Must hold a PLS license in NY/MA/CT/RI/NJ/NH (other licensures a plus). No field work required; 100% remote work with primary focus on managing crews, client development, and project delivery. Requires strong communication, proven experience in land surveying, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Carlson Survey (Quickbase a plus) for logging job statuses. Responsibilities include managing survey crews, coordinating field and office operations, and ensuring projects meet quality, schedule, and budget goals. Strong business development skills to acquire new clients and grow revenue are expected, along with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is required, in ANY of the following states - NY, MA, CT, RI, NJ, NH. With multiple state licensures being a plus.
- Field and office experience in land surveying is essential, and attention to detail is a must.
- A proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating new revenue.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and the ability to take direction and grow with the company.
- A proven track record of managing survey crews.
- Self-motivation, drive, and the ability to work remotely are important for success in this role.
- Experience using AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey is required, and proficiency with Quickbase to log job statuses is a plus.
