Job Summary
Professional Land Surveyor to oversee the full project lifecycle for boundary, topographic, and easement surveys, acting as the technical lead to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include coordinating field crews and CAD technicians, mentoring staff, developing proposals and budgets, managing client relationships, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey software (Carlson Survey, Trimble Business Center), operating GPS and robotic total stations, integrating sUAS data, and reviewing plats, ALTAs, and property descriptions for state and client compliance. Preference for multi-state licensure (NC/SC), advanced technology experience (3D laser scanning, drone data processing), and active participation in surveying societies and mentorship programs.
Required Qualifications
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
