Job Summary
We are seeking a Professional Land Surveyor with a strong technical background in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and experience in managing all phases of land surveying projects. Candidates must hold an active PLS license in Rhode Island, with a preference for an MA license, and have at least 5 years of experience in the field.
Required Qualifications
- Active Rhode Island Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in land surveying
- Strong knowledge of Rhode Island land surveying regulations and standards of practice
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and surveying software
- UAV pilot license preferred but not mandatory
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout Rhode Island
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with subdivision and land development permitting processes in Rhode Island municipalities
- Understanding of FEMA flood mapping, title surveys, and boundary dispute resolution
- Leadership experience supervising survey crews
- Microsoft Office experience, use of Project Management boards on Monday.com
- Construction Management experience is a plus but not required

- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
