Job Summary
Provide in-home care for seniors, including assistance with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, transportation, and medication reminders. Offer companionship and emotional support, report to Care Management staff, and engage clients in thoughtful conversation and cognitive stimulation. Be physically able to perform light housekeeping and driving, with some shifts including weekdays, mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight, and potential live-in assignments. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and your own reliable vehicle (no ride shares)
- Professional caregiving experience with elderly
- Dementia/Alzheimer’s experience a plus
- Clean criminal background
- Must be willing to take an active role in engaging clients in social, cognitive, and purposeful activities
- Must be comfortable using mobile technology
- Open availability strongly preferred
- Minimum two professional references
